Privacy

What we collect, and what we do with it.

Watch Command is run by Daniel Walker Media. This page explains, in plain language, what information this site collects and how it's used. The short version: we collect only what you choose to give us, we use it only to send what you asked for and to respond to you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

  • When you join the Roll Call or request a free tool: your first name, email address, and (if you choose) your role.
  • When you take the coat assessment and ask for your follow-up emails: the same, plus your result and score counts. Your individual answers stay in your browser; only the result and totals are sent.
  • When you request an agency briefing: your name, title, agency, work email, phone (optional), state, agency size, program interest, and anything you write in the notes.
  • Where you came from: if you arrived from another site or a link with a source code (like a LinkedIn post), we record that source so we know which outreach is working.

The coat assessment result shown on screen and the turnover calculator run entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you submit a form.

How we use it

  • To send what you asked for: your result, the five-day follow-up, and the weekly Roll Call newsletter
  • To respond to agency briefing requests
  • To understand, in aggregate, which tools and articles are useful

We don't sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.

Where it's stored

Contact information is stored in our customer relationship system (GoHighLevel, operated by LeadConnector), which also sends our emails. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Cookies

This site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to protect the site from bots. The site keeps the source of your visit in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so a form can record it if you submit one.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom. It takes effect immediately.
  • See, correct, or delete your information by emailing daniel@thewatchcommand.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Agency engagements

Information collected during paid agency work (staff surveys, interviews, cohort sessions) is covered by that agency's agreement, not this page. It's confidential, reported to the agency only as de-identified themes and totals, and never used for marketing.

Not medical or psychological services

Nothing on this site, including the coat assessment, is a psychological evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
